“Blodsjord” is the first single that is part of the upcoming album "Under ei Morken Rot", which will be available in physical and digital format May 23rd.

Its lyrics focus on a dark age thrall’s battle for freedom from his tyrannical master, personified in this video by a contorted and skinless three-headed ram with antlers. This song is just as much about breaking the chains that bind you, whether they be the personal restrictions you put on yourself, or the ever-present frustration of living in servitude to an impersonal society led by despots that seek to separate man from their true will, wild nature, and inherent freedom.

Those who shed their blood to turn the soil, inherit the earth – those who stare themselves blind gazing at the sky, will slowly wither and die.
